Vicosa hydropower plant

Viçosa hydropower plant is located on the Castelo river in the state of Espírito Santo.

The power plant has a total head of 66.5m and the powerhouse is equipped with two Francis turbines, which receive water through an 860m penstock with 1.9m in diameter. The concrete gravity dam is 4m high.
