Status: Monitoring
Zonneweide Vlagtwedde is currently the largest solar energy project in the Netherlands. Construction was completed in early October 2020.
Statkraft is co-developer and administrator, alongside PowerField. The British investment company Impax owns the park. The solar meadow consists of almost 350,000 panels on a surface of more than 100 hectares. It is estimated that the solar park will produce 103.5 MWh of sustainable electricity annually, sufficient to meet their electricity needs for approximately 29,500 households.
